THERE’S nothing worse than trying to relax in your garden, only to see the eyes

THERE’S nothing worse than trying to relax in your garden, only to see the eyes of your neighbour watching your every move.

Luckily, a DIY pro has shared his super simple answer to the problem - and it only cost him £50.

Kyle revealed how he used cheap roof battens to build a privacy screen, decorated with on-trend panelling.

He said: "We DIYed our privacy screening and it cost less than £50!"

During the 37-second reel, Kyle shared a glimpse at the small wall that separated his garden from his neighbour's.

Two layers of floral screen wall sat on top of two layers of bricks, meaning the wall finished at around waist height.

The content creator then went on to share how he made his privacy screen, adding: "Number one, secure fence posts.

"Two, add membrane for extra privacy.

"Number three, attach the first slat and make sure it's level.

"Keep working up, ensure they stay level.

"Tip - we used an off-cut as a spacer to keep the spaces between consistent.

"Stylish screening."

Keen DIYers can pick up a similar-style waterproof tarp from various retailers, including Screwfix, for as little as £9.99.

Wooden roof battens are also available online, with Wickes pricing them at £4 each.

Fans loved his savvy idea, with the step-by-step guide gaining more than 460 likes and 42,800 views.
